Welcome to the Goole RFC Youth Section

 

Goole RFC Youth section has a great track record of success at club level. Goole RFC has many of the players currently in the Youth section who have progressed through the Mini section. Goole RFC Youth have strong links with schools in the Goole, Howden and Selby areas and are always keen to attract new players. Should you be reading this page with a view joining Goole RFC then please speak to the relevant coach of you particular age group.

 

Goole RFC runs the following age groups

 

Colts/Under 16s - Richard Shand and Steve Clement

Under 15 - Robert Newsum and Darren Moore

Under 14 - Ian Kirkby, Dale Marwood, David Haynes and Tony Donoghue

Under 13 - Clifton Milburn, Mike Vollans and Mark Newman

 

All Youth squads train on Sundays from 10.30am to 12noon.

Matches for U13 to U16 normally start at 11am. Matches for U17 & U18 are played at 1pm Midweek training sessions are held for all Youth age groups on Thursdays 6-7pm

 

Who can Join

We are always keen to welcome new talent to join the Goole RFC Youth section. Local school tournaments and matches are regularly held at our grounds. Should you be one of those players who would be interested in joining please contact the relevant age group coach to find out more or alternatively just turn up on a Thursday or Sunday session?

Girls are also very welcome to join the Goole RFC Youth section from ages 14 to 17
